Hi, I’m César, this week’s historian!
This week, we had to create a visual story that remarked the benefits of ICTs in the classroom!
Firstly, we were given a list of formats we could choose from - Regular comics, super hero comics, cave paintings... and aucas! An auca is a series of pictures coupled with a poem that tell a story. We chose this format because we never heard of it before and we wanted to try something new.
We started with a meeting in Zoom, where we discussed the story we wanted to create and brainstormed about the rhymes we could use. Noelia helped us a lot during this part of the task, telling us which rhymes were correct and wrong.
A few days after, we met again via Zoom. Celia had found a tool for creating comics and she made the comic! After that, the rest of us polished the rhymes we did not like and completed the comic.
Lastly, on class, we had to evaluate one of our classmates' comics (Las Definitivas' comic), and we even took some notes and ideas for future tasks!
This task was pretty interesting, as we got to discover new formats of transmitting information we did not know before.
