Overview:
TED-Ed
is a library of 1,000+ educational videos called TED-Ed Lessons. The terms of
TED-Ed disclose that it is possible to submit personally identifiable
information in their public forums. Their terms state the information they
collect is, name, email address and password, and the option to provide other
information. Their terms state at TED-Ed they keep track of how often the
audience engages with TED and do not share detailed contact information with
advertisers. The terms state that at TED-Ed they protect and prevent
unauthorized access to personal information, maintain data accuracy, prevent
accidental loss, destruction, damage or theft of data, TED implements and
maintains security and organizational measures with commercially reasonable
physical, technical and administrative controls.. Their terms also disclose
they use behavioral advertising in order to help TED better market on third
party platforms. The terms of TED-Ed disclose users must be at least 13 years
of age to create a TED Account, if a user is under the age of 13, they may not
create a TED.com account, but are welcome to watch TED Talks and enjoy the
site.
