Hello! I am Iván and this week I have the purpose of explaining what we have done to all of you.
Firstly, we read the document which Linda provided to us (“Holistic Teaching Competence for a Digital World). In that document, we found an introduction and an explanation of the six main characteristics of the teaching competence for a digital world. We also had to watch a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EwDNokZvCE) and to read another document about creating engaging infographics (https://graphicmama.com/blog/how-to-make-an-engaging-infographic/).
Secondly, we met on Monday in order to summarize those points and then, we had to create an infographic that addresses them all. We did not face any big problem when doing the diagram, but Celia helped us improve the image quality of it.
Lastly, our mission was to introduce to the class how we have developed the task. According to this, it is relevant to clarify that our member, Noelia, has decided to be our star voluntarily and the rest of the group has accepted. In that way, Alejandro is going to be the facilitator, which was the role assigned to Noelia for this assignment. Thus, the rest of the group will perform the agreed roles.
In this activity, we found it easy to address and understand the six features of the digital teaching competence (DTC). Equally, the explanation of Linda and the simplicity of the task has also helped us.
